Glucose and cholesterol levels increase when schizophrenia patients are
treated with most of today's anti-psychotic drugs. Clozapine, olanzapine
and haloperidol are associated with increased plasma glucose level, and
clozapine and olanzapine with raised cholesterol, report researchers in
Orangeburg, New York.
