Schizophrenia.com needs your help! - How to make Tax-deductable contributions to this site
As you may know, I started the schizophrenia.com web site after my brother
- who suffered from schizophrenia - took his own life because of the disease.
My goal with the site is to create a free information sharing web center
to get the best possible information out to patients and families so that
people who have schizophrenia can get better treatment, faster and therefore
live better lives. I've invested over $10,000 of my own money in the site
over the past years, but now need your help to keep the site up and running,
and to continue to improve it.
To make it easier for you to help us, I've registered Schizophrenia.com
as 501 (c) non-profit project, under the Tides
Center - a non-profit organization that helps other small non-profit
organizations. We consciously limit our advertising that helps defray the
costs of running the site, and so most of our financial support must come
from you, the people who use and benefit from our site. All donations go
directly towards updating Schizophrenia.com with the best and most current
information, keeping our Discussion servers running, and sending out our
free newsletter.
