The National Institute of Mental Health
is conducting free inpatient research
studies at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland, involving extensive diagnostic
evaluations, medication protocols, neuroimaging and medication-free
studies.
Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 65, be diagnosed with
schizophrenia, and be free of other neurological illness and active
substance
abuse. The research program is not suitable for those who are
in a state of
crisis or who are extremely agitated, assaultive, or actively suicidal.
