Pam, my dear friend,
Your prowess as a writer has never been a subject for debate to my knowledge. I applaud the powers that be who chose to commend your work. Your award is well deserved, and that is an understatement, to be sure.
You most loyal fan and true admirer, T3

Hi Pam,
I've just finished reading your book, "Divided Minds". To me it is probably the most influential book I've read on schizophrenia. As an artist and writer you've managed to let people into your world and I appreciate that effort.
I am an artist, writer, cat lover and therapist, not always in that order. Each day I try to find a way into the worlds of "my guys". I've read a ton of academic research but your book has given me that critical insight that I wasn't "getting" before. Thank you so very much. Please take care of yourself and consider me a friend.
Sincerely,
Karen

Those cats are very funny!
I just read your book for the second time and I'm glad I did. I understood it more on an emotional level this time. The treatment of the mentally ill still has a long way to go. the treatment of teenagers is barbaric. The blogs, the book and interviews show just how effective one person can be in the fight for the rights of those with a mental illness. thank you.

Congratulations Pam! I, too, won an award, along with Christina and several others as you already know. I'm hoping it will help draw people to our sites. I'm unable to add the icon of the award to my site unfortunately but may be able to write something to indicate I've won. I am very pleased for all of us.
