Hi all - I thought this might be a good place to post a brief introduction, since I'll be floating around on the site under various screen names for the next few months =). As the title indicates, I'm one of the new summer interns recently recruited by Brian. My name is Julia, I'm from California and going into my senior year at Emory University as a Neuroscience major. My future plans include attending medical school (whichever one will take me...), hopefully starting in Fall of 2005. For now, I'm really excited to contribute to this important and unique website! I hope that my work and my writing will maintain the standards of excellence that I have seen so far.

Welcome Julia to this site. It's a life saver for many of us parents. The information and support we receive here is so valuable. I hope that in my life time we will find a cure or a better way to treat schizophrenia. It is one of the most devastating diseases a person can have.
