I had a good meeting the other week with a couple of the leading people in Yale University's psychiatric group - and it looks like they'll be working more closely with us in the future. They have a lot of information and experience in treatment and research of schizophrenia - so I think it will allow us to help a lot more people, with even better information.
You'll likely start seeing some of the results of this co-ordinated effort in the next month or so.
We're also in discussions with another academic institution in the UK regarding a partnership effort. We'll disclose more on this as we get further along in the process. This will be a longer term effort that will involve some software development designed to help people with schizophrenia.
We're also finally getting some money from advertisers to supplement the money we get via donations to keep the web site up and running. With these additional funds we're hiring some freelance writers and a summer intern to get better reporting on the developments in schizophrenia - and to improve and maintain the web site better.
This should be a good summer at schizophrenia.com - a time during which you'll see a lot of progress on the site.
